Place Work Orders on Hold

Work orders with a Requested or Issued status can be placed on hold. This status keeps the work order in a pending state, indicating that the supervisor or administrator may want to reissue when resources are available. Once a work order has been placed on hold, it can be accessed at a later date and reissued.

  1. Locate the work order you want to change.

  2. Ensure you are on the Details, Tasks, Costs, or Attach page.

  3. Click the Action button next to the word Status in the upper-right part of the page and select On-Hold.

    The status is changed to On-Hold. It is not necessary to save this change.
