ClosedPreventive Maintenance Filters

The Preventive Maintenance module provides four predefined filters, listed in the Filter menu at the top of the PM List, to assist in locating schedules.

The menu can be used to filter results as follows:

  • Scheduled: All Preventive Maintenance Schedules that have assets defined on the Assets tab.

  • Due: All Scheduled Preventive Maintenance Schedules with maintenance scheduled on one or more assets which are due on the current date or earlier.

The due date calculation takes into account the number of days before PM Date that the schedule will be generated based on definition on the Automation tab.

  • Ended: Preventive Maintenance Schedules which have ended. It means that they are no longer generating. This is based on the End Date defined on the Start/End sub-tab.

  • Disabled: Preventive Maintenance Schedules that have been disabled on the Schedule sub-tab.

ClosedPreventive Maintenance List

The records displayed in the Preventive Maintenance List typically include current status, schedule type, ID, and name. The Preventive Maintenance List is most commonly sorted in ascending alphabetical order.

The following describes the columns displayed:

  • Status: The first column displays a clipboard icon providing a visual indicator of the schedule's enabled or disabled status. Each icon shows a clipboard with a small image on the left signifying the current status.

    • Enabled Preventive Maintenance Schedules are depicted with a clipboard next to a blue dot.

    • Disabled Preventive Maintenance Schedule are depicted with a clipboard next to a red dot.

  • Type: The second column displays an icon providing a visual indicator as to the type of schedule. If no assets have been defined on the Assets tab, no icon appears.

    • Calendar / time-based schedules are depicted by a calendar icon.

    • meter/usage based schedules are depicted by a meter icon.

  • Preventive Schedule ID: A unique identifier for the Preventive Maintenance Schedule. In many installations, a naming convention is used that combines the asset classification and scheduled interval.

For example, for a schedule defined to run monthly and quarterly for the Asset Classification "Auto", the schedule might be identified as "AUTO-M-Q".

  • Preventive Schedule Name: The Name field is used for a more complete description.

In the above example, the name for the "AUTO-M-Q" schedule might be "Auto – Monthly and Quarterly".
