Delete Entire Stock Room

Stock Rooms that are no longer in use are not typically deleted from Maintenance Connection, as they retain historical data that is still important to maintain. Rather, a stock room that is no longer in use should be made inactive by clearing the Active check box on the Stock Room Details page.

However, if a stock room has been created in error or does not contain historical data, it can be deleted. Deleting a stock room permanently removes the record from Maintenance Connection.

You must be a member of an access group with permission to delete stock rooms to process a deletion.

  1. Access the stock room you want to delete.

  2. Click the Delete button.

    A dialog box opens, asking you to confirm your choice.

  3. Click Yes.

    The stock room is deleted and the Work Center Home page of the Stock Room module appears.
