Details: Requesters
The Details tab displays key information about the requester.
The following fields are displayed on the Requester Details page:

ID/Name/ Initials: Identifying fields for the requester. The Requester ID field is used to uniquely identify the individual.
Labor resources, crafts, requesters, and contacts are all maintained in the database table. ID's must be unique across all four modules (i.e., a labor resource and contact cannot have the same ID).
The Name field is typically more descriptive/complete, such as the full name of the individual. The Requester ID and Name fields are both displayed in the Requester List.

Type: A Type field is displayed to provide a mechanism to change a requester into a labor resource.
If a member that was originally designated as a requester is now a labor resource:

Open the Type lookup
.

Choose between two options:

Select Transfer to Labor module as Contractor.

Select Transfer to Labor module as Employee.
Once saving this change, the individual will no longer be available in the Requester module, but will be included in the Labor module.

Employment Status: The employment status of the requester.

Birth/Hire/Term dates: Fields to enter the requester's birth date, hire date, and termination date, if applicable.

Job Title: The requester's job title, which can be entered free form.

Organization fields: Fields used to identify the requester's placement in his or her organization. Organizational fields include:

Status: A check box used to specify if the requester is active. Clear this check box if the requester is inactive to ensure that the individual does not show up in Requester lookups. The requester continues to be available in the Requester module list.

Membership ID: The membership ID of the requester is displayed if he or she is a member of Maintenance Connection.
