Manage Folders

You can create and manage message folders in the Message Center. For example, you could create a Saved Message Folder and move messages into this folder as needed.

ClosedCreate a New Folder

  1. Click the Manage Folders button A yellow folder icon with a pencil. in the upper-right corner of the Message Center header.

    The Manage Folders window opens, showing any personal folders you have already created.

  2. Enter a new folder name in the New Folder Name field.

  3. Click the Create Folder button.

    The new folder name appears in the list, with options to delete the folder or edit the folder name.

  4. Repeat as necessary.

  5. Click Close.

    The Message Center appears and your new folder is available in the Folder field to the left of the Manage Folders button.

ClosedDelete or Rename a Folder

  1. Click the Manage Folders button A yellow folder icon with a pencil. in the upper-right corner of the Message Center header.

    The Manage Folders window opens.

  2. Choose between two options:

    • To delete a folder, click the X button A red x icon. to the right of the folder name.

    • Rename a folder:

      1. Click the Edit button A white clipboard icon with a pencil..

        The New Folder Name field refreshes and displays the current folder name.

      2. Enter the new name you want for the folder in the field.

      3. Click Save.

         

  3. Click Close.

    The window closes.
