Home Page
The Home Page is organized into sections for Work Orders, Assets, and Inventory. You can only see sections that are visible to your access group. Your access group gives you predefined permissions that optimize your user experience. You can also configure certain settings from the Settings page.
If configured by your organization, your current Repair Center and Shop filtering is displayed in each Section Header. Repair Center and Shop filtering affect the records that are returned in MC Express. For example, if you are filtered to a particular Shop, the work order count displayed in the work order lists is limited to the amount in that particular Shop. Tapping the Section Header opens the Settings page where you can change these global filters.
The following sections describe features available on the Home Page.
Each of the three sections has pre-configured filters that help you quickly access records. For example, in the Work Order section, you can use the My Open Work Orders and All Open filters.
On the upper-right corner of each section is an Action button. Tapping this button opens a menu which provides quick access to actions you can take. The actions available to you depend on your permissions.
Some actions may be performed without focus on a particular record. For example, in the Work Order section, you have the option to create a work order or view work order assignments.
Custom work order filters can be set up by your System Administrator in the Maintenance Connection MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations Work Center). If they are enabled, you can access them using an option at the bottom of the Work Order section. This feature helps you find work orders that are important to you.
If custom filters have been set up for you, you can enable or disable them from the Settings page.
Apply a custom work order filter:

Tap the Custom option at the bottom of the Work Order section.
A list of custom filters available to you appears.

Select the filter you want to use.
The work orders that match your custom filter appear in a list.

Apply additional filters as necessary.
