 Reporter

Upon logging on to the Maintenance Reporter, you are presented with a list of report groups on the left with corresponding reports on the right.

It is important to note that the Maintenance Reporter is fully integrated within the Maintenance Manager application, alleviating the need to switch applications.  The Maintenance Reporter is available as a stand-alone application for individuals not needing the features of the Maintenance Manager - rather needing just reporting functionality.

From the Maintenance Reporter home, you can copy, setup, and view reports.

Report Criteria

The Report Criteria page displays upon running a report.  You can bypass this page by clicking the 'Use Default Criteria' checkbox on the Maintenance Reporter home page.

By filling in the fields on the Report Criteria page, you essentially filter out unwanted data for the selected report.

Report Criteria Date Selector

The Report Criteria Date Selector is a quick and easy way to select a date range for reports. By changing the criteria 'operator' to 'is within' - a date selector drop-down appears allowing you to select from pre-defined date ranges.

Report Criteria Lookup Table

The Report Criteria Lookup Table allows you to quickly and easily select values from a lookup table. Lookup tables can be defined within the Maintenance Manager application.

Report Criteria Module Lookup

The Report Criteria Module Lookup allows you to quickly and easily select a value from a related module.  For example a criteria field called Labor ID is asking you to select a Labor ID.  By using the Module Lookup, you can select Labor by simply clicking from a list. The Report Criteria Module Lookup also displays lookup dialogs from within the Maintenance Manager application.

Report Preview

After running a report and selecting report criteria, the report preview window appears. It displays your report with the selected criteria and has a toolbar of options at the top.  The options on the report preview toolbar are:
  1. Print (Prints the Report)
  2. Email (Emails the Report)
  3. Export (Exports the Report data to HTML, CSV or XML)
  4. Setup (Report Setup)
  5. Criteria (Change the Report Criteria)
  6. Refresh (Refresh the Report Preview with current data)
  7. Close (Closes the Report Preview window)

Open Work Order List Report

The Open Work Order List Report is a consolidated list of all open work orders in the system. You can print it out grouped by priority, location, employee or setup the report to group by anything you would like. You will notice below that the report also includes a pie chart, displaying the data in a graphical format.

Work Order Report

Work orders can be printed individually or in groups. If you group several reports together, the labor, materials and tools required will display in a summary at the bottom of the report. The Work  Order Report can be put on a clipboard and handed to a maintenance technician or emailed directly to a contractor.

Documents in Reports

Document attachments can be printed on reports. Examples of Document Attachments are as follows: (Informational, Lock-Out Procedures, Maps, Operating Procedures, Policy / Legal, and/or Task Sheets)

Report Setup

The Report Setup page allows you to change such things as the report layout, report sorting / grouping, and whether or not to display a chart.  From the Report Setup page, you can:
  1. Select the fields you want displayed on the report
  2. Select the report orientation (Horizontal / Vertical)
  3. Select the sort order of the report
  4. Select report grouping / totals
  5. Select a chart to be displayed at the top of the report

  1. From Name (Your name)
  2. To Address (who you want to send the report to)
  3. CC Address (who you want to carbon copy - not required)
  4. BCC Address (who you want to blind carbon copy - not required)
